Finally got photos of the crocheted blanket I made!

Awhile back I started following Twinkie Chan‘s Crochet Sampler class on Creativebug, and ended up making 6 of each of my favorite squares (72 total) so that I’d have enough to make a throw-sized blanket. ♡

Details:

  • Joins: Continuous Join As You Go (Pull Through Loop) Method, by Hooked By Robin
  • Outside Edge: finished the double crochet from the join method above, then did another round of: half-double crochet, half-double crochet, single crochet. Then finished with drop stitches all the way around
  • Yarn: Mix of worsted Big Twist Value Worsted, Loops & Threads Impeccable Solid Yarn and Red Lion Super Saver using a 4mm crochet hook
  • Final Size: I was aiming for a standard throw blanked size of 52″ x 60″
