rose dress alteration

Posted on April 13, 2021April 22, 2021 by szmoon

I told myself I wasn’t allowed to buy any more vintage clothing until I began altering some of the pieces I already have. 🥲 I fell in love with the fabric of the original dress from depop, and couldn’t resist making a True Bias “Ogden Cami Hack” out of it. ♡ The Ogden Cami is a super popular cami sewing pattern online, and it’s well known for being a great base to modify into new patterns.

I’ve been slowly trying to add more color and pattern back into my wardrobe – it’s gotten pretty bland these past few years as I tried to blend in with more formal workplaces, but I’m over that now hahah.

ps social media is a lie lol – in most of the photos we took I looked insecure about my pandemic body or just plain tired. x_x But I am happy with how breezy and comfortable this dress turned out. ♡♡♡
