magical plant sculptures

In 2019 my friend Aimee hosted a creepy plant making party, and that’s when I made the mandrake pictured above. It was so fun, just crafting for the fun of it with friends. ♡ The next year (2020), I started the mimbulus mimbletonia as a fun Halloween project. I put off working on it again for almost a year later, and only now completed it until this month. 😅 Both sculptures were made using a foil base, crayola model magic clay, hot glue and paint.

Anyway, I really love how these turned out, and again, really enjoyed making something for the pure fun and challenge of recreating something I love.

Below are the mandrake cupcakes Aimee made for the party, and the eyeballs were someone else’s amazing creation.
